Analogue chat

PVC tubes, metal brackets and screws.

The analogue chat is a physical translation of online connection, in almost ‘organic’ looking form.
The work is loosely inspired by Windows 3D pipes screensaver, which I used to watch for hours on end as a child, fascinated by the forms and growth of that lifeless visual spectacle. The work attempts to bring into view what’s hidden behind closed walls, ceilings and floors, blending in quite naturally with it’s surroundings.
