The analogue chat is a physical translation of online connection, in almost ‘organic’ looking form.

The work emphasizes the human input of these mediated social relationships in its reference to organic forms, whilst simultaneously referencing a technological use through its material composition of PCV tubes.

The work is also loosely inspired by Windows 95 3D pipes screensaver, which I used to watch for hours on end as a child, fascinated by the growth of that lifeless visual spectacle.

Analogue chat is made of PVC tubes, metal brackets and screws.
